What about a fallen blackguard? Got the call now a Paladin?

I in all my gaming years have never seen this done before? Isnt there a redeemed templkate of some sort?

Well there should be, seeing as most good gods as we see them today are into the whole forgiveness thing.
I've never seen it though.
For game purposes it would probably require the completion of a quest without using any of your evil abilities.

There is not a redeemed template, per se, though there are rules for sanctifying evil creatures in The Book of Exalted Deeds. I don't remember them offhand, and I don't believe they are open content (so I couldn't type them anyways) but there ARE rules for it....

FWIW, IMHO, I don't think you should have to go through all of the complications of "sanctifiying" the blackguard, unless it is an NPC, or someone is trying to sanctify a PC blackguard against his or her wishes. I would usually just allow the PCs to ::gasp:: ROLEPLAY the changes....!!!!
