Well, hes now fifth level, and took a charisma increase and 4th, and will also do so at 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th. So i'm not worried about his maximum spell level. Thats good advice, which I am intending to follow. However, i'm also hoping to have a decent enough range of spells so that I can make up for the low charisma by targetting my opponents weaker saves. If i'm fighting a barbarian, then i'll use will save spells, if i'm targetting a mage, i'll use fort save spells etc. I'm also going for spells that have no saves, ranged touch-attack spells. With a 15 dex, and cats grace, those touch attacks arent too hard. I'm not sure if officially you can "chain" rays and other touch-attack spells though. Anyone know? Does Grease count? The "chain spell" feat states that it can be applied to "Any spell that specifies a single target and has a range greater than touch". Charm Person I already have thanks, and Cause Fear i'm avoiding because of the 6hd limit on it. I'll check out Hideous Laughter and Command Undead, they could well be worthy additions. As for Chained Targeted Dispel Magic, fantastic idea! :) Thats going to be his first 3rd level spell. There goes his second 3rd level spell, good catch there too, thanks. I did want to pick those, but they have a range of touch, and as such they dont meet the criteria. Hmmm, hold on a moment, isnt there a feat that allows you to deliver touch spells at range? Would that feat combined with "chain spell" suddenly open up a whole new range of spells to be chained? Anyone know? Yeah, its a tall order, but I like a challenge and to play a character thats a little different. Thanks for the ideas everyone, keep them coming! :)
