I remember being told back on the Paizo forums when I was arguing for item bonuses to spell attack rolls that they weren't needed because (most) casters get legendary casting proficiency eventually, which brings them up to more or less the same attack bonus that non-fighter martials have with their weapons. Of course, this only applies to level 19+, which is when casters get their legendary proficiency. Up to that point, when compared to a non-fighter martial with a level-appropriate weapon, their attacks are at a relative:

Level Attack difference

2-4 -1 (item)

5-6 -3 (item and proficiency)

7-9 -1 (item)

10-12 -2 (item)

13-14 -4 (item and proficiency)

15 -2 (item)

16-18 -3 (item)

19-20 -1 (item and being ahead on proficiency)

This, to me, is a problem. But I don't think fixing this math is within the scope of the remaster. With PF2, they rebranded the setting as the Lost Omens setting, much like Wizards has Forgotten Realms (set on Al-Toril), Dark Sun (set on Athas), World of Greyhawk (set on Oerth), Dragonlance (set on Krynn), and Birthright (set on Aebrynn). I think the only TSR/Wizards D&D settings that were named after their planet was Mystara and Eberron. In PF2, the default method of stat generation is that you progress through four stages that each give you a certain number of ability boosts (and in some cases flaws), with ability scores starting at 10 and getting +2 for each boost up to 18, and then +1 after that. Changing this so boosts give +1 to the modifier (+0.5 after +4) instead is trivial. To me at least, holy/unholy implies some kind of supernatural connection. In 2.0, a bandit and a devil are both Evil, but it's likely that in PF2R only the devil will be Unholy.
