Whoohoo! :D I'm glad you like what you've seen so far, Merak (and big thanks for planning to buy the books rather than use the pirated copies you mentioned!). There are several other good settings to choose from, so the competition was tough. I hope Kalamar can live up to all your expectations! I liked your idea of how you plan to bring the characters from one setting to another. Depending on how much culture shock you want to give your players, I might suggest far northern Brandobia over the Vohven Jungle (colder and mostly uninhabited, as opposed to hot and densely populated with jungle animals and monsters, though few peoples). Just keep in mind that, as they move north of the Vohven, that the Isle of Svimohzia is like Maori and Zulu bushmen + 1,000 years of civilization. Great stone cities, architecture and culture, not straw huts and primitives with bones through their noses. :) If you haven't checked it out yet, I suggest dropping by the Kalamar forums on our messageboards. Everyone's very friendly and willing to chat and answer questions. Flames and trolls of any kind are almost unheard of. Also, it's another good place to post your campaign notes in the Story Hour section. http://www.kenzerco.com/forums/ubbthreads.php
