CoC is usually too depressing to our group to run for long stretches, so we relegate it to one-shots. I may have just the thing...*SPOILER* FOR ANYONE IN MY REGULAR GAMING GROUP, TORM THIS MEANS YOU, DON'T LOOK...[SPOILER]Based on an idea that a previous poster at ENWorld had about two or three years ago, the players stat themselves up as BRP Call of Cthulhu characters, and then run them through a very bizarre situation filled with mutilation, death, and things that aren't quite human. Basically, start them with something like waking up, and each one is missing a body part or an organ that has been surgically removed from them just hours before, or something similar. This year, without one particular player at the table who is quite versed with the anarchist's cookbook, it should run pretty smoothly![/SPOILER]</blockquote>
