You'll only get one 2nd level spell out of them (again, I recommend Silence cast on an arrow shot into the party sorcerer), but they can use Hideous Laughter, Sleep and Cause Fear (all devastating spells against 4th level and lower) and it's still unlikely that they'll whine about having to go up against a Bard (nobody ever suspects them of being dangerous).
Ray of Enfeeblement on the Cleric and Fighter. That'll weaken them and make them less useful against your minions (spiders or whatever you decide to use). Slow down your rogue and swashbuckler with traps around the arena floor. Remember the scene in Gladiator when it starts off as just a brutal one-on-one fight and becomes more epic because they're surrounded by tigers? That's how you need to step this up for them. Your sorceress isn't a newbie to this arena and your party needs to realize that quickly and know they're in over their heads and think fast. the spells everyone else has recommended are great, too. I'd go with Scorching Ray and Summon Swarm (spiders) for 2nd level spells. Swarms are really hard for melee types to counter (your rogue, fighter, swashbuckler and maybe even the cleric depending on how he's played) so that'll help lock up the sorcerer to deal your swarms and Scorching Ray is just awesome at that level. If you want to get evil, have a cleric (3rd level) or bard (4th level) henchman who casts silence on arrows and fires them into your spellcaster to make them useless for a bit. If you do use a henchman, I really would recommend a 4th level Bard over a 3rd level Cleric. Daze is also a powerful 0 level spell that the bard can use as often as he still has an unused spell slot. Also, Mage Hand being used to throw dirt in someone's face is a fun magical twist you might want to put on an iconic Arena tactic.
