We’ve had a bunch of favourite movie type threads recently. So here’s another. What are your top 5 (ish) movie quotes of all time? Quote the quote, and name the movie it’s from. The Big Lebowski That rug really tied the room together. <It was either this or the Stranger’s iconic speech to camera at the end of the movie.> Casablanca Ilsa: You're saying this only to make me go. Rick: I'm saying it because it's true. Inside of us, we both know you belong with Victor. You're part of his work, the thing that keeps him going. If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life. <So many lines in this one I was tempted to copy and paste the whole script. AND throw in the famous misquote.> The Italian Job You’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off! <also the punchline to one of my favourite jokes. And if you haven’t heard my Michael Caine impression… you’re lucky.> The Rocky Horror Picture Show How do you do? I see you’ve met my… faithful handyman. <Is this the greatest entrance in movie history? It’s either this or the first time we see Vader.> The Warriors Warriors! Come out to play-ay! <It’s a bad movie. But it’s a good bad movie, possibly a great bad movie. And this single line goes a long way to making it that.> So what are some of yours? Yes, you! Here’s lookin’ at you, kid.
