I primarily focus on improving the support for Darwin. I first learned about Nix about six or so years ago. It took a few attempts for me to finally get it, but I did, and I use it to manage my computer and servers. Hopefully this does not violate the rules of the thread, but I started working on Darwin support because I <a href="https://github.com/reckenrode/nix-packages/tree/main/pkgs/by-name/ff/ffxiv" target="_blank">use Wine from nixpkgs to play FFXIV</a>, and I wanted to make sure that worked as well as it does. After <a href="https://discourse.nixos.org/t/the-darwin-sdks-have-been-updated/55295" target="_blank">rewriting the Darwin SDK</a> support last fall, I’m currently working on improving the Swift support (because I started using <a href="https://mpv.io" target="_blank">mpv</a>, which needs Swift to build).
