I buy pretty much everything that comes out for Pathfinder. I bought most things that came out for 4E. With 4E, I drew the line at those cards that offer in-game benefit. I thought the first set was horrible. WotC did not invest enough in art for the product. Also, the cards, in a lot of ways, replaced a superior, free product that was handed out during LFR events. So, I bought the first set; I got burned; and I did not buy any more.Now fast forward to 5E/Next. I'm not particularly excited about what I have seen out of or heard about the new edition, but I love D&D; so I will definitely by the core 3. I'll probably buy every book that they make for the game. What I will not buy, however, is the miniatures that they recently announced. I like miniatures, but the core game specifically avoids their use in favor of theatre of the mind. Why do I need them? I suppose if 5E organized play (I love organized play) uses the tactical module as a default, I might buy them; but more likely, I'll keep using my Pathfinder and Reaper minis.</blockquote>
