I regret getting the Psionics Book. Not so much that I didn't love it (I do) but because WOTC never supported it. Can someone tell me why Githyanki/Githzerai have shown up in the Psionics Handbook, Manual of the Planes, and the Monster Manual but WOTC never went back and gave Mind Flayers any innate Attack/Defense Modes except the obligatory Psionic Blast? No wonder the Gith overthrew them, as written their minds are WIDE open and the Githyanki get to Ego Whip every round without spending a single Psi Point. Should never have bought Traveller T20. Only reason I bought it was because my gaming group decided to give it a shot. Looked good but after a few sessions they just wanted to steal some of the new rules and incorporate them into D&D. Lifeblood was the main rule. BAD IDEA!!! Constructs and Undead become the single most powerful creatures in the game. As far as the splatbooks go I liked Sword & Fist. The rest were a waste of money. However, I am one of those people who MUST have the collection so I bought them all. Dumb me. I liked the Scarred Lands setting and the monsters in the CCs but most players want Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms since they are already familiar with them. Haven't used it yet and probably never will. Thank god I bought them in the bundles so they weren't that expensive. Never should have bothered with my Dragon subscription but I LOVE Dungeon magazine. I steal adventure ideas and mess with them all the time. Dragon is just a bunch of fluff and adspace. Honestly, did anyone really get anything out of the issue where they revisted a bunch of old campaign settings. There is no support for Kara-Tur anymore so why bother putting a 2 or 3 page article about the setting in the magazine. Ravenloft is also totally covered so why bother with covering it when you can find the same stuff in any of the books. Why bother with any of it at all?
