Well, what i mean is, when creating a character, what do you use to make him/her unique. I realize it's a combination of everything, but everyone has a favorite. If you said other, plz specify.

The willingness to keep going in the face of overwhelming adversity. The willingness to put the lives of others before your own.

Your actions. What you do with what you have dispite all the problems that are put in your way. I mean it's like there is some greater being, beyond the gods, that is constantly places problems in the hero's way.

The things you mention are common to all heros. I was trying to get at what seperates your fighter from all the others. I should have said what your favorite method of differenciation(sp) makes you unique rather than what makes you a hero. sorry.

A hero can't define himself a hero, a hero is defined by other people. "I kill orcs, I must be a hero." umm, no. You are a hero when you serve a greater good that another preceives as a heroic deed. Only then are you a *true* hero, for good or for worse.
