My House rules, My Game: Most pre-3.0 GMs I met had a binder full of house rules that finally tweaked the game to their liking. Hell, I knew one guy who would come up with an alternate alchemy system for each campaign (one time it was interlocking crystals, another time knots of magical string) that usually had big roll in the final battle. To change the rules, meant that hours of work and playtesting was out the window.2.) They Moved The Charts!: I knew one guy who hated 2 ed. simply becuase now all the charts were on the "wrong" pages now. He had the game down pat and He didn't need or want to learn any new rules.Overall, I guess you can lump both of these into the "The game ain't broke for me, so why 'fix' it."</blockquote>
