What do you do with the character sheets after a session?

Generally, players keep them. However, if I find that I have mysteriously misplaced my sheet, I email a current copy of it to myself on gmail and if need be, print off a copy at whoever's house we're playing at.

Players keep them, but I also try to have a recent electronic copy availible as a backup.

As a Player, if the DM asked for my character sheet, I’d give him a copy (electronic or paper). My character sheet is my property and my responsibility, no less than my dice and my PHB.

I have a blue accordian folder that all character sheets from all of our games (wheither I'm DMing or not) go into at the end of the session.
