Wrong Question? If I were grabbed, RIGHT NOW, I would have normal street clothes (that no one cares to have described), and my (old) boots (with holes in them!), and glasses. With a successful DEX check, I could add medicines that I HOPE I won't need (like the asthmatics), and a host of small items. Of course, I would make the Mysterious, Mystical-Magical Vortex chase me about the room, so I could conceivably grab a veritable HOST of survival gear, the sword and sheath at the head of my bed, the quiver of arrows (although the bow's kinda hard to get to), knives and handaxes, blah, blah, blah... I think "What do you have on you, NOW?" is the wrong question, though... It should be: "What would you normally habe on you at the game session?" In that case, survival gear is minimal, and no swords or bows appear... I would have a lockblade knife, a multitool, a LED flashlight that will last about 140 hours, a Ranger Rick's Survival Necklace with a ring-saw, glow-in-the-dark whistle, two dog-tags with full-coverage silencers, a firestarter (flint & steel) with tinder, and a small compass (the last two attached via small snap-swivels), as well as a short length of beaded chain. On my wrist I would have a Suunto X6 watch, with altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer, and watch, with a brand new battery in it. It also alarms when it's about to rain. In the backpack, along with the paper, pens and pencils, books, character sheets, equipment lists, and dice, I would have a metal "Space Pen" usable as a "Prison-Special" weapon, as well as a light rain jacket, a pair of handcuffs and keys, a small first aid kit, and a fixed-blade dagger. I might or might not also have a folding plastic letter-opener style pocketknife. If I was LUCKY, I would also have two liters of Diet Coke, and some type of munchies, to help keep me alive. If not, I'm stuck with the glucose tablets in the first aid kit... :(
