Mm. I like the DC "family" of super-hero cartoons (Batman: TAS/Gotham Knights, Superman, Justice League/JLU, Batman: Beyond, and Static Shock, but not Teen Titans or The Batman). The Spider-man cartoon was fun to watch, but I couldn't get into any of the other Marvel toons. For the most part, I don't like anime. The kiddie stuff is just inane -- I especially loathe all the dumb "face faults"/sight gags (ie, giant sweatdrops, big red angry cross-popping veins... I just don't get it). The more adult stuff, on the other hand, seems mired in existentialism. The big exceptions to my dislike of anime are Record of Lodoss War (the OVA; I haven't seen the series), which I consider to be the true D&D movie, and Fullmetal Alchemist, which has completely won me over with a great blend of drama and comedy, a cool backstory, superbly clean animation, great characters, and a really, really catchy theme song. Can't stand any of the "Cartoon Network zaniness," sorry. Couldn't wrap my head around Space Ghost or Brak back in the day, don't even want to bother with Sealab or that show with the fast food. South Park doesn't turn me on, either. I can stand an episode of The Simpsons now and again, but too much turns me off. Futurama is really fun, though. And Homestar Runner? Holy crap, I fweakin' live for Homestar Runner. Sewiously. TROGDOR!!!!!!!!!!!
