What does caster level affect in the current version of the game?

Could someone please list out all the effects that casterlevel has in the current 3.0 edition of D&D. Every rock turned over so all of the rules it works with are listed here please

From memory:

Caster Level determines what you roll to penetrate SR.

Caster Level is used for any mechanical portion of a spell that scales with caster level (IE- Caster level 5 fireball does 5d6 damage and has a range of 600 ft.)

Caster Level is used for determining whether or not you qualify for certain feats, like Item Creation.

There may be more, but thats all I recall at this moment.

It's used in dispel checks

Caster level adds to your dispel checks.

Caster level determins what level of scoll you can use without risking a mishap.

Caster level commonly scales range, duration and effects of spells. And less commonly scales targets.
