Personally, I don't "trust" anyone's judgement, no matter who you are. While I truly and greatly appreciate the input I receive here, my opinions never change until it makes sense in my own head. I'm not one for laying down and rolling over because someone is popular. Also, perhaps the reason Caliban is right more often is because Skip has to answer questions from us so much. Heck, that'd be enough to drive me to drink if I was him. Here's where I stand on the speed/haste issue: 1) It does not make sense to me that you could not use your haste action to drink a potion because you used your weapon of speed. 2) It also does not make sense to me that if you use your haste action, you lose both speed attacks if you have 2 speed weapons. 3) It does make sense to me that if you use your haste action, you lose 1 of your speed attacks. Surely you can see how 3 conflicts with 2 and 1, but at the same time, 3 partly agrees with 2. These are the arguments that have been presented by various people, boys and girls. Parts of them make sense to me. But I won't make a choice based upon popularity. Primarily though, I haven't been here long enough to care one way or the other how often Cal has been right. Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate Cal's input and I respect him for his politeness.
