The home of Hafez the Poet, whose poems of wine, and women are still revered by all Persians. Every Iranian home should have two things: A Quran, and the works of Hafez. Now there is a nice Australian wine that bears the name of the city (shameless advert for home produce). I had a most inspiring visit to the fantastic Persian palace of Persepolis  three weeks ago, and prior to the disastrous earthquake, the magnificient citadel at Bam (We avoided the earthquake by some three weeks). Truly an experience straight from a Persian fable.I consider myself fortunate to have an opportunity to work here, even if it means the postponing of my regular campaign. There is yet more for me to discover in this ancient country!</blockquote>
