I am pretty sure a statement at the start of each UA (in big bold letters) that subclasses do not remove or replace class features, but only add to them would solve a lot of things. barbarians: ape totem, a small race focused weasel totem, and some kind of lycanthropy/demon rage barbarian that excels at unarmed combat (probably by getting claws and fangs) bard: it seems like there should be a divine bard subclass, but honestly I am not sure what it needs cleric: community domain (although it will generate the same complaints [too much interaction, not enough combat) that the last 2 bard subclasses did], and some kind of summoner focused cleric (angel/devil/demon domain?) Druid: swarm Fighter: a mystic/psychic subclass, with psychic features as primarily utility Monk: nothing comes to mind now Paladin: it seems like there ought to be a smite that does necrotic damage. Maybe some kind of oath of the mount that gets a powered up mount (I noticed a couple of celestials that would make good mounts). Ranger: There are too many ideas floating around already Rogue: A divine rogue subclass Sorcerer: I think the final version of the favored soul will be mechanically too gish and not enough divine, so I wouldn't turn down an oracle sorcerer. Also, a psychic/mystic sorcerer seems like a natural fit. Wizard: Just to be ornery, the reform school wizard. Necromancers only think they are the bad guys.... Warlock: A shadowfell based patron or at least more creepy than the undying one. Update mystic Arcanum to include planar ally as a 6th level spell.
