I am beginning a 4e project (intended for-profit, but no current publisher) and would like to hold a discussion with ENWorlders about what they would like to see in it.
The project is to create a Fantasy Backdrop Book with generic and unique adventure locations for use in any campaign (rope bridges, volcanic cavern, etc.).
Anyway, I want to start up a thread concerning this book in order to recieve comments, questions, and suggestions for what fantasy backdrops ENWorlders would like to see in the book and how they would like it organized (descriptions, rules, adventure hooks, sample encounters, etc.).
I've been a member here for a long time and really wanted to allow ENWorlders to be involved in the process of creating this book. However, I am uncertain as to where I should put the thread. Its 4e so I was thinking of putting it in the House Rules forum, but its not really going to be house rules (though I might release a free sample or two for feedback). I also was considering the General Discussion forum, but its probably too focused on 4e to be a good fit there. Is there another forum that would be a better fit? Or is the 4e House Rules area okay for a discussion of this project.
Thanks,
Joseph
