What Hangs Out With Formians?

I made some new "Techno Warriors", "Flying Warriors" (uh, I am creative?), "Techno Masters"
All of them got some special ranged weapons that were developed by biotechnology (you could see it as some kind of spellware). They are called (working title) "Mandibleshrieker" and act very similar to Screamerpistols and rifles. (Sonic Damage)
The claws of these kind of "modern Formians" are weaker (1d3 instead 1d6).
(I figured out that this would make more sense than giving them regular weapons, because claws have difficulties to grasp a blaster pistol)
They each gain 1 extra hit die, so I could add some Skill Points in Freefall or Pilot.
The Flying Warriors do have the ability to fly and are also capable of piloting.
The Technomaster, is an "improved" Version of the Taskmaster. He gained even 2 extra hit dice, and has Use Device and Repair as additional skills, and "Remote Control" as extra Feat, so he can not only control slaves but also robots and similar devices.
Each of these 3 have been somehow adapted to space and can survive a certain amount in the vacuum. (I am not sure it outsiders wouldn`t be immune to this anyway...)

Genestealers in D&D? Mmmm...
Actually, I'm considering putting genestealers into my next campaign. Well, probably not proper hybridizing genestealers - I think they're going to be a desert-dwelling predator-thingy. I just have so many genestealer figs from the various incarnations of Space Hulk that it seems a shame to not have hordes of horrible, chittering, four-armed, fast-as-the-wind monstrosities pouring over the hills toward the hapless party.
Hmm...now that I think of it though, it WOULD be pretty damn cool to use the genestealer hybrid gimmick and have them take over a town or small city over a few generations. Oh, snap, decisions, decisions...

Well, the crash site is near a mid-sized city, so there's no shortage of human slaves available, and I threw in a hobgoblin slave or two, just to mix things up.
I'm designing the colony around a myrmarch platoon from the formian listing in the MM. 1 myrmarch, 14 or so warriors, 17 or so workers, and a conscription team of 4 or 5 taskmasters. The warriors and the myrmarch will all be able to use high-tech weapons, while the workers will be decked out with high-tech repair-type equipment, and the taskmasters will have set up high security around the slave pens. The slaves will all be deeply disoriented, since they're "traditional" Kalamar residents.
Of course, thanks to the hive mind, there's a larger hive of formians somewhere within a certain radius, all with knowledge of technology and how to use it. That should make for interesting follow-up adventures.
I think perhaps the formians have been building their own ship out of mined metals and technology analyzed from the crash site. It's an easy matter for a group of workers to repair the original ship, and it's just as easy for the larger hive to put together their own version.
