D&D 4E What happens to Eberron in 4E? Is it a dead world?

It's possible he may have meant, "What happens to Eberron when 4e is released, while we are waiting for something official to come out?"

When is the campaign guide scheduled for anyway? And during the 6-9 months we are waiting, will we have guidelines, interim books, articles, conversion docs for our 3.5 books, or anything else?

Well, since it's been stated that there'll be no conversion guide, do you suspect that they'll make an exception for Eberron?

If so, that's a slippery slope.

Conversion documents no, though they have said that Dragons of Eberron and City of Stormreach will be re-statted for Fourth Edition in D&D Insider (perhaps as a free adjunct to the pay service? I can't recall).

I suspect, however, that at least the warforged, changeling, and shifter will make an appearance as monsters-with-PC-rules in the first Monster Manual, and that other elements of the world like the dragonmark feats will appear in D&D Insider well before the new Eberron setting book comes out.
