I usually just wing it in game time. The rules as written just frustrate wizards IMO.</p><p>- Roll twice for hp's and take the highest.</p><p></p><p>Concentrate on your campaign and the adventures rather than the house rules. The more you play, you'll figure out what you like and don't like. But it's just so easy to spend every waking minute trying to rewrite everything.
