I'm the same way to a degree Merric. I'm great for helping to develop ideas or for being the rules person, maybe come up w/a great adventure idea or 3...but holding a long term campaign together just falls apart. Too much ADHD, not enough drive to make things stick together well enough I suppose. One shots or co-DMships mostly heh. Modules have never been that interesting to me tho. I prefer the more open feel of a number of the Necromancer Games modules, but I don't know how many of them I would ever really run. Remember, 4E isn't released till June so you'll have plenty of time to get used to the first adventure before you run it. I'm assuming that the second comes out the same day as 4E? Which could well be Origins at the end of June. If you aren't starting things up until the end of June, you'll very easily be covered by the current release schedule. If you're meeting every 2 weeks and each adventure took 4 sessions, you're looking at 2 months of time on each adventure. Start late June, that puts you ending that 4th adventure in late February, plus any extra missed sessions from large seasonal holidays. These could well last you thru all of March if that pace is an accurate guess. Good luck!
