The character would only gain 1st and 2nd-level domain spells as he or she is only a 2nd-level cleric.Another idea mght be that the character casts spells based on the FIRST spellcasting class taken. So, in that case the character would use the spellcasting progression of the cleric.Anyway, just some ideas.
