I liked OBE Witchdoctor class too. We have a witchdoctor in our party. The player is enjoying it. We like the 'wall' powers - he describes them as spirits on a path. Some may be a little powerful, but not over the top. We are liking it.
Goodman Games have a lot of good adventures. They also released a couple of Race books (Dragonborn & Eladrin, maybe Tieflings). I got the dragonborn one and liked it a lot.
Time for a little shameless self-promotion. I think that my product Lumin: Heroes of Light and Life is pretty good, for the following reasons:
1. It provides mechanical support for characters who have a special connection to the forces of light and life. While one of the more obvious applications is to use it to represent characters descended from celestial bloodlines (what we would have called aasimaar in 2e and 3e), it can also be used quite flexibly (IMO) to represent a character who is a specialty priest of the Sun God or one who has been specially blessed by the gods.
2. It uses the multiclassing mechanic, so it can be easily added to most characters, provided they meet the requirements to take at least one of the initial multiclassing feats (Wis 13 or Cha 13).
3. The flavor and mechanics of the feats and powers are tied closely together and support each other. IMO, anyway.
4. It comes with power cards which you can print and fill in variables such as attack and damage bonuses to facilitate play at the table.
Nosfecatu Publishing (RPGNow.com - Nosfecatu Publishing - - The leading source for indie RPGs) is a tiny outfit with just a couple titles so far, but their stuff represents a mythological tradition--Filipino folklore--that you barely ever see in games, and is generally quite well put together. They keep on top of Wizards' updates quite well, too; when PHB3 came out, they updated the player race to have flex-stats, and when MM3 came out they overhauled the monsters in both products to the new damage expressions and statblocks.
