Time for a little shameless self-promotion. :p I think that my product Lumin: Heroes of Light and Life is pretty good, for the following reasons: 1. It provides mechanical support for characters who have a special connection to the forces of light and life. While one of the more obvious applications is to use it to represent characters descended from celestial bloodlines (what we would have called aasimaar in 2e and 3e), it can also be used quite flexibly (IMO) to represent a character who is a specialty priest of the Sun God or one who has been specially blessed by the gods. 2. It uses the multiclassing mechanic, so it can be easily added to most characters, provided they meet the requirements to take at least one of the initial multiclassing feats (Wis 13 or Cha 13). 3. The flavor and mechanics of the feats and powers are tied closely together and support each other. IMO, anyway. ;) 4. It comes with power cards which you can print and fill in variables such as attack and damage bonuses to facilitate play at the table. 5. It's quite reasonably priced. Again, IMO. :D I have links to a number of excerpts in my sig, but in case you have sigs turned off, here they are: What is a Lumin? / Racial Feats / Class Feats and Martial Healing / Encounter Powers and Dazzled / Daily Powers and Tide Turning / Paragon Path and Implements / Epic Destiny
