What is the best 4e political adventure?

Title says it all. I am looking for an interesting political adventure for 4e. I don't care who the publisher is.

It can be Dungeon or stand-alone, or part of a 3pp product.

What do you mean by political? I've seen it used in a few different when when descriubing RPGs and adventures.

Town-based, possibly (preferably) dealing with gaining political or economic influence. Not just a dungeon crawl.

There's no trap inherent in the definition.

I've been asked to provided something "political" and "not just a dungeon crawl".

If I can do that using 4e materials, I will do so. As part of my ongoing playtest, I am not turning to converting 4e materials (I've already done BD&D, 1e, OSRIC, Basic Fantasy, and 3.5; I am hoping 4e will convert as easily). The fun of the group is more important than my testing 4e conversion. I'd rather do both, though!

Oh, and relevant: I'm currently running games on Thursday, so I'd prefer to have materials available for a read-through on Tuesday. I'll be picking up whatever materials I am using, so respond soon and respond often! I'd like to buy the best adventure you guys can suggest.

Oh, oh, oh, oh.... must resist temptation to self-promote.

I've been asked to provided something "political" and "not just a dungeon crawl".

I might be about to explode... can't contain myself...

Without trying to be too self-interested...glance around EN World a bit more... the navbar is quite interesting... focus on orange.

It's not like we've used that as our very design brief or anything... not like it's in our actual tagline....

Or click youtube link in my sig.

Hm...the last political adventure for D&D I saw was "Arena of Thyatis" for BECMI, and before that I think maybe "Killing in Silk" for AD&D 1e in White Dwarf #91... :\ - or to put it another way, they are mighty thin on the ground.

I'll promote for Morrus..

WOTBS War of the Burning Sky hands down, is the only 4e adventure path that is not a dungeon crawl. I've only been through the first two modules so far.. but I have to say with a few minor issues it is one of the bests AP's I've seen for 3 or 4.

My Scales of War adventure ("Haven of the Bitter Glass") has a fair amount of politics in it. It's not particularly stand-alone without a bit of massaging, though, and I certainly wouldn't call it "best"! I'll also speak up for War of the Burning Sky. There's some spectacular roleplaying and politics in there.

War of the Burning Sky are certainly the best non-dungeon crawl modules for 4e that I've seen. They are also, incidentally, the best modules for 4e that I've seen.

I'm not sure I'd describe them as "political" per se, but there is certainly a good amount of politics. I think it's safe to say that each WotBS module contains a lot of "roleplaying that matters" but only some of the modules center around gaining political influence. Others, of course, have read further into the series than I...

The only other place (that I know of) that would have political adventures would be the Open Design adventures. There might be a Dungeon Crawl Classic that does it as well but I don't know the line well enough to say which one.

Honestly, this feels like looking for a needle in a haystack. Political adventures are a minority no matter what edition you play.
