..... Thanks Hal for all the great comments and thoughts. It is much appreciated by all the Bluffside fans. Well, by by me at least. :) On the Dry Lands and The Deep projects though, the problem with those was they may have been "Bluffside ready", but they weren't Bluffside. Dry Lands, while a great product on its own, had very little connection to the city of Bluffside itself. The Deep pulled away from the city almost completely. What the supporters of Bluffside want(ed) was more stuff about the city itself. The districts...the sewers...undercity...old city...the tower. Even a book about the surrounding area would be able to work Bluffside in a lot, as the proximity to the city would allow this. By surrounding area, I am speaking of the forest and mountains around the city. Adventures taking place in the city with some more material about areas in the city might even be good. It is sad to hear that Bluffside didnt sell as well as you would have wanted. Maybe it was the timing of the release that also hurt it in its initial stage, coupled with the lack of direct support. If I remember correctly, wasnt Bluffside released around the same time as Freeport and a few other city books. I think it was dubbed the "glut of city books" at the time on these very boards. There havent been any really good city books since "the glut". Maybe the time is right now for another big time city book release, "...from the makers of Bluffside". Just a thought. If a freelancer or fan had ideas for Bluffside and possible products that could be released with only a little risk, would you guys be interested in hearing them? There are a lot of smaller projects that could be done directly for Bluffside that would possibly spur interest in it, and might be worth the risk to get the best city book some new interest. Just wondering.... Thanks again Hal and others for all the great comments and thoughts. Rabid Gerbil "Chew, chew, chew"
