What is the difference?

I have not read much about the Dungeon and the Dragon magazines so I was curious as to what the difference between the two is?
Is one of htem better than the other or do they serve different purposes?
Is there a website for the magazines(publisher)?

Dungeon's focus is adventures and campaign/world building tips. Generally three adventures per issue and several regular articles with information and ideas to help round out a campaign, whether it be from building a campaign or some brief NPC descriptions, drop-in encounters. Geared more towards the DM.

Dragon is supposed to be geared for the player with class options and articles. There are still things useful for a DM though, the Ecology articles and the fact you can always use the class options for your NPCs and such.

I subscribe to both and enjoy both - though my favorite is Dungeon at this point.

You know, I used to be a big fan of Dragon, and couldn't care less about Dungeon. Then the reviews got dropped, everything was "just AD&D", so I stopped reading Dragon. And now, with 3.5, I love Dungeon, but couldn't care less about Dragon...

Hi-

I think Dragon has improved alot over the last few years, granted not everybody will like dragons content but at least there is something for someone. I really enjoy Spell Craft, nothing like throwing your players for a loop huh?
As for Dungeon great stuff, though I'd wish they'd put the stat blocks on one page ah well, adapt overcome and survive I guess.
The other minor thing Dungeon might want to do is dump those stupid articles by some guy named will weaton and put a few extra NPC's in the back from verious campaign worlds.

Anyway, I'd recommend them both. Perhaps somebody can do an article on how the Two weapon fighting feats also.

Both are cool. I prefer Dungeon, prolly cuz I'm a dm 75% of the time. :)

I buy prolly 1/3 of the Dragons, and maybe 1/2 the Dungeons. I sadly missed the 4th quadrant of the Greyhawk map though. :\ :(
