Neutral Good, hands down. I've been trying to diversify during the last few years, with Lawful Neutral, Lawful Good and Chaotic Neutral characters, mostly. I rarely play Evil, but would appreciate if everyone is on the same page.

I have one player who almost allways plays lawful, or good, and often both at once. That siad, i have three other players who, no matter what they are playing, act chaotic neutral. "Yes, i did kill that beggar, but i also fed that orphan back there, so i'm still Chaotic neutral".

"So what if the king throws a fancy-dress ball? I'm coming in my blood-stained adventuring gear. Much better conversation starter."

They also tend towards chaotic stupid.

"Oooh! A floor switch in the middle of the room! I STOMP IT!!!1!one!"

And I have one who allways plays a bard, even if she's told not to play a bard, she will replicate being a bard by becoming a multiclass fighter / rogue / sorcerer that specializes in enchantments. And now that i've shown her the beguiler i'm very, very afraid. She's ALLWAYS chaotic neural.

Most of them start as nuetral and then I let the story and their goals and behavior dictate their alignment from there. Usually I determine where they're going by discussing the motivation/actions with the GM once we're well enough underway to pick the correct one. That way I can't be said to be rolyplaying 'against' the listed alignment when I play the character true to the personality.

I put Neutral Good, but I tend to play around the Lawful Good area. However, Lawful Good isn't that common. Usually I'll play Neutral Good, followed by Lawful Neutral with good leanings. Once in a while I'll play Lawful Good, rarely I'll play Neutral.
