What is this stuff that I never use

I am searching through my Fancy ENWorld Profile and I am noticing few things that I do not use and I have questions about them...

What is the effect does the Buddy List thingy do? Just figured that out...

How about group Membership? Can we create 'Groups' and what does a membership do??
How about this Events Reminder thingy?? Can I add events to be reminded of?

I have a full year subscription...

I may be wrong here but group membership is mostly used for PbP games. Event can be placed on the calendar and you can be reminded of them, birthdays, cons, talk like a pirate day.

That's kind of what I was expecting. I am not seeing a way to create either of the two. I suppose that is really my question.

I may be wrong here but group membership is mostly used for PbP games.

Actually group membership is for the hosted forums like The 13 Kingdoms and not actually PbP forums and though 13 Kingdoms, is a PbP forum of some type, its not the first set of forums most think of when it comes to PbP. (aka they’re not the forums I patrol.)

A group is used to give a number of people, hence your group, a set certain number of permissions. It saves time. So instead of editing everyone’s own promises for the CS accounts you simply add or remove them from the CS group.
