That would help everyone. There is nothing worse than getting stuck at a light in the middle of the night when no one else is on the road just because people could not have been a bit more polite to start with - in which case there would be no traffic light and I would be home by now! :\ If people all merged with traffic as soon as they were aware that a lane was closing, traffic would not slow down nearly as much as it does when people pull ahead of others, then force their way in to the other lane. Such behavior forces the other lane to slow down more and inconveniences everyone else.I donate to charities. I am less inclined to give to street folks directly since in my experience it rarely goes to actually improving their lives - I will give to a shelter instead.I am not perfect, by an stretch, but I try to do more good than harm and help where I can. There is enough evil in the world.</blockquote>
