[QUOTE="Weird Dave, post: 9518625, member: 6749823"] I love reading about people's treasures! While I've only been playing for 30 years now, probably my favorite treasured item is a super worn copy of B1 In Search of the Unknown. When I started playing with my friends in the mid-90s as youngsters with no jobs, we had a few copies of the 2nd Edition Player's Handbook, a copy of the 2nd Edition Dungeon Master's Guide, and my Monstrous Manual, but as far as content goes? We relied on our local library for that, which thankfully had a well-stocked collection of old 1E modules. We gravitated towards B1 In Search of the Unknown a lot, checking it out frequently between the eight of us, and many years later I managed to get THAT copy from my library's used book sale. What a find! I wish I still had my Introduction to AD&D boxed set - the one that came with the audio CD you could play to listen how to play and cue up scenes keyed to the adventure. I still have all of the contents (faded books, cards with pregens, cheap plastic miniatures, tattered battle map, surprisingly good condition CD) but I had to repurchase the set to get the box. That dice set is my second most prized collection - an orange d20, yellow d12, pair of white d10s, blue d8, red d6, and green d4. That orange d20 has ended the lives of many foolish adventurers and it continues with me in all my games now! I have a few things I really enjoy though they don't hold as much sentimental value. The TSR Silver Anniversary set, the cool wood D&D boxed set WotC put out for the 40th anniversary with the reprinted OD&D modules, an original printing of Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle from 2013 (which used the D&D 5E playtest rules still in development at the time), the 30 years of adventure coffee table book (the one with Vin Diesel's intro), and a handful of other gems.
