1e Fiend Folio: This is the only D&D book I owned growing up and I had to hide it under my bed thanks to the Satanic Panic. Loved looking at the monsters and dreaming about how brave someone would actually have to be attempt to take them on. Hackmaster 4E collection: I'm still in awe of just how much love and creativity was poured into this game. Out of my entire collection, I think this is what I would choose to be preserved forever in a museum. Complete Knights of the Dinner Table collection: My first divorce left me devastated. For months, it was like my brain forgot how to make dopamine. I'll never forget picking up a copy of this comic and flipping through it at my FLGS and laughing out loud for the first time in forever. It's been over 20 years and is STILL look forward to picking this up and seeing my friends again. Halo Master Chief figurine: We recruited this younger guy to play 3E with us and he shows up to my game with a Halo figure. I was dead set on running a serious game, so told him no, but he persisted. Finally told him if he rolled a nat 20, he could use it. Couldn't believed he rolled it. Room went wild and there was no way I could go back on my word. He proceeded to play my entire 2 year campaign with that stupid thing. When we were finished, he jokingly told to me keep it to remember him buy. It sits on my shelf right next to me and I love it dearly now. Edit: Realized the title of the thread was specifically D&D items. I'm so used to D&D = all TTRPGs when talking to others I goofed here. 😅
