Necromatic Shield prevents a single corpse from being a valid target for any Necromatic spells (For Example, Animate Dead, Speak with Dead). This effect is instantaneous and cannot be undone by anything other than a Wish, Limited Wish, or Miracle. The corpse does not radiate magic after Necromatic Shield has been cast - it's nature has been fundamentally changed so that necromatic magics no longer recognize it as a corpse.
