It's pairing two things and walking a fine line - horror, which is disempowering, and action, which is empowering. Against mooks, yeah, you're going to cut through them. But you're overpowered by the conspiracy- which is the genius of the conspyramid and the suspyramid. Against the big bads, if you get into a fight, you're done. Full Stop. You have to lean into the conspiracy part and use the aforementioned skills in order to play your enemies against each others, and apply your strengths to their weaknesses. I think that the combat system fits that well, to make you shy away from fair fights, and to use brain over brawn so that you don't get into the types of battle that more unrealistic agents get into.</p><p></p><p>But that's just my take on it, and it's worked very well for me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
