What miniatures to use?

Well. The new plastic prepainted pieces of "less then masterwork" are not for me.

And I have searched long and hard to find any suitable alternatives.

So please help me. Where do I get decent minis for PC like Dragonborn and Tieflings.

Reaper hads good metal minis.

Mageknight, some heroclix and a few dreamblade minis can work for D&D and are sometimes cheap on ebay. You do have to rebase most of them.

OK Entrepreneurs out there, WotC minis suck of late (ie. look at the red dragon then... early set... and now), since their quality has gone down, we need some company / individuals to take up the 1) "Plastic" 2) "Painted" and 3) "Minis" size factor and create competition.

Reaper is coming up with something I saw on their site but we still need another alternative with quality as their main selling point.

Can anyone tell us why WotC's quality has gone down so very fast? And maybe I'm not the only one, but is anyone else flabberghasted by the crummy 4E Mini Red Dragon? YIPES!!!!
