If I recall correctly, the gist of it was that alsih2o had a bunch of excess d20 product - I believe he had received it for either review or judging purposes. Since he didn't need it, he offered to give it to some ENWorlders, possibly as contest prizes. Someone chimed in that he should send it to soldiers instead, to which he reasonably said that he would do with them what he chose, and if the other poster had some material of his own, he was welcome to do whatever he wanted with it. Things turned ugly, and others inexplicably jumped on alsih2o's ass for no good reason. The whole thing left a sour taste in his mouth, and he departed ENWorld for greener pastures, and I don't blame him - that was a crappy reward he got for his generosity. He was a really nice guy - his posts here were always entertaining and/or informative. I got to meet him at an ENWorld get-together at GenCon (or maybe Origins) one year, and he was just as cool in person. I never did get the chance to buy one of his awesome dice rollers, damn it. It would be great if he came back, but I think that bridge is long burned a couple of years ago. Did I remember this right? Or have I forgotten/misremembered something?
