In my last campaign, the party was burglarizing a house of a mage. They made it into the house and looted fine. But, instead of being sneaky on the exit, they made a break for it, drawing the attention of a Skiver (Scarred Lands critter - sort of demonic scorpion) guarding the premises. They danced with the critter for a round or so and got mauled fairly badly. They then decided to make a break for it. However, the critter got one more shot in at the hapless rogue, Trey. A double crit stinger attack, a critical claw attack and a third hit from a claw pumped in some 65 points of damage into the rogue with 9 hitpoints. I basically described it as the death scene of Bishop from Aliens. To this day, "Doing a Trey" is synonomous in my group with spectacular PC death. I guess the strangest thing currently would be a somewhat intelligent dagger the party picked up. I'm giving it the same voice as the Parrot from Terry Pratchett's Eric. Lot's of "wossnames" and that sort of thing. It's actually started to grow on the party. Although, the recent addition to the party has decided to also affect an accent which bizarrely sounds like a cross between Texan and Welch. :uhoh:
