What of the already done settings do you think WotC is revisiting for a Setting Book?

[QUOTE="Henadic Theologian, post: 8306544, member: 7030526"] Techinuquely yes, but it's very unlikely. Still intriguing thought. The goals for a new FR setting book would be address the current out standing issues. 1. Address the complaints that the SCAG received such as lack of details for areas outside the Swordcoast/North, it's incredibly small size, favorite Gods being left out, certain pieces of lore that were unpopular, regions that were ignored completely, etc... 2. To update the setting giving all the changes that have occurred in novels, Adventures, other books (especially MTOFs, like wtf did this new Raven Queen come from, how did the demihuman pantheons suddenly get some many new members, etc...), and to update it for major post Tasha's changes, such as new Drow subraces/cultures (I knew the Lorendrow, Udadrow, and Aevendrow art we saw had to be for somekind of new FR book), etc... Reflecting upon these issues I expect this new FR book will focus on outside the Swordcoast, especially Southern and Eastern parts of Faerun, maybe even beyond. To address both the size issue folks had with the SCAG, it's not only going to be a bigger book, but likely the biggest setting book. I think they will look at the FR setting book that has gotten the most praise for ideas on what type of book folks are looking for, and that would be the 3e Forgotten Realms (and by extension its 3.5e update Player's Guide to Faerun).
