What old books do you still own? The first OD&D box anyone?
Still have my Holmes basic set that I started with, with the B1 module in the lovely pale greenish :) The covers of both the module and rule book are held together with tape. Don't have all the box anymore, just the front of the box with the fighter, wizard, and dragon. Still have all the old dice from it, even the d4's are almost round now ;) Have all the 1e AD&D books, all first editions. All are in surprisingly excellent condition except for the core 3, which have duct tape spines and borders :) Have a metric buttload of old modules from the day. Got all the Dragons from late 30's to about 120, and all the White Dwarfs from mid 20's to whenever they became an exclusively WH mag. Got several boxes of the old Grenadier miniatures, only about a fifth of them painted, of course :D Dropped out of D&D when 2e came out, so have none of that other than the PDF versions I've slowly been buying of FR and Planescape background stuff. Got into Rolemaster, MERP, and Battletech at that point and don't even want to discuss how much of those three I have lying around the game room...
