Many of the feats, weapons, armor, character classes, inventions, and magic in Northern Crown could be helpful to anyone running a strictly European campaign of the same vaguely-defined era (late 17th to early 19th century), just as the book can be used to run a Native Americans-only campaign with no Europeans at all. Sorry that I haven't updated the web site in ages, so here's the basic info as it stands right now. The current plan for Northern Crown is to offer two 192-page softcovers (a player's book and a GM's book), sold separately. This plan evolved from a single 256-page hardcover, which would have been far too small for all the stuff we wanted to cram into it. The player's book will have over a dozen cultures, five new core classes, and perhaps as many as nine prestige classes to choose from. The GM's book is focused on creating and managing adventures, with an atlas, gazetteer, encounter tables, politics, rumors and legends, monsters, magic items, inventions, and stat blocks for some famous NPCs (from Franklin to Paul Bunyan!).</blockquote>
