The players don't have these books so they love getting new spells they have never heard of. I give them the new spells but don't tell the other players about them. So when the new spell is cast, the caster gets a big wow-factor.The coolest so far is Land Womb from Magic of Faerun. It is a druid spell that opens up a pocket in the earth that swallows the caster and touched creatures. The pocket holds them their for 10 minutes/level. Our druid used it to avoid arrest by the city militia. He and his dwarf companion snuck out the window of their house and the druid just wrapped his arms around the dwarf and cast the spell. The player of the dwarf freaked out! They waited 90 minutes and when they came out, the soldiers were gone.</blockquote>
