Message: <blockquote data-quote="Rook" data-source="post: 28242" data-attributes="member: 418"><p>The clerical spells you are likely thinking of are Divine Favor and Divine Power.  These give you a fighter BAB, temporary hit points, an 18 strength, and a bonus to all attack and damage rolls.  Not quite so abusive, but still quite nice, is a Persistent Bless or Prayer Spell (or the similar versions found in Defenders of the Faith).  And, of course, as new spells are created, the opportunity for abuse increases, since the Persistent Spell feat is poorly balanced.  Every new spell created with a fixed range or Personal range is immediately subject to possible abuse if it is a powerful spell whose power is controlled by a short duration.</p></blockquote><p></p>
