I killed the bastard anyway, and then with the help of my (apparently) chaotic good brother raided the dungeon myself.But as I grew to understand paladins a little more good old Valgoth grew up a bit himself. In the end stopping at 14th level as Commander of the purple dragon knights in Cormyr <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />.The second was Stennar Ironfist, a Dragonlance Dwarf with the goal of joining the seperated dwarven clans together. Dwarven stubbornness being what it was, I found an ancient dwarven stronghold underneath a minotaur city (If I remember correctly) and started my own race of Dwarves - after slaying the gully dwarf king as he begged at my knees and personally depriving the minotaur nation of an emperor. Ahh, good times. I think jumping off my own young adult dragon mount onto a Mature blue, taking a bolt of lightning, cutting the harness straps on the dragonlords armour and plummeting a hundred feet into ocean whilst strangling him and then swimming to the surface victorious - on half hit points - was  a particularly cool moment. Dwarves are tough. Dwarven Barbarian/Rogues are better.</blockquote>
