It's also reminiscent of the Warhammer Fantasy World (Hell, there's even a one-page short story in one of the books where they pretty much describe the whole points of light idea in a literal way. I oughta copy it and repost it around here, someday). Although I'll probably change up some of the gods a bit (I like Bahamut and Asmodeus, but I'd like to mix them in with a few others). Get rid of the Greyhawk gods except for maybe Vecna, dump Bane, bring in Tiamat, roll Corellon, Gruumsh, and Moradin into the standard pantheon, etc. I've also got an idea for mixing in a monotheistic god and having him compete against the usual D&D pantheon of gods.  I'd also like to create a world which is kind of similar to the Palladium Fantasy World, in that humans aren't the dominant race there, but competing with another up-and-coming race. If they're not careful, they may become another faded power, much like the elves and dwarves. I've always thought that idea was pretty interesting. Rather then having humans all over the place ruling the world, they've instead gotta fight for it. And not against dying races like elves or dwarves, a race of stupid brutes like orcs, or tiny weaklings like goblins, but against a race which is just as cunning, capable, and driven.</blockquote>
