Honestly? There's very little synergy between different types of controller. Both want to be using their standard actions to use controller powers to shut people down. You want to hybridise with someone who uses either minor actions or immediates on one side - which means either a leader or a defender. (Lazy Warlords make perfect hybrids - and Swordmages are outstanding, especially paired with another Int class). If you don't want wizard or psion you're basically locked into a Wis-based class - Invoker, Seeker, Druid. And Druids have negative synergy when hybriding (beast form), and Seekers have no synergy with the other controllers due to weapon/implement distinctions. Which means you want an Invoker. As for hybriding an invoker, an Invoker|Shaman should be more controller-y than an Invoker|Controller because of the inherent control from an extra body on the field in the shape of the Spirit Companion/guardian angel (as you could call it). If you want to check out hybrid rules, I'd recommend Invoker|Shaman. If you want a warlock, I'd drop the sorceror part. Darklocks can manage mook detonation/area control. And Fey pact manages single target control well, as does Sorceror King pact (the latter being higher damage and more straightforward). Also Dark Pact as part of a twofold pact is superb; the awful at will is offset by the other at will you get, and the endlessly stacking nature of darkspiral aura means that you don't ever waste pact boons.
