Sometimes even ones that do simply resonate with people who aren't Christian (my wife is Buddhist for example and made me take her to the theater to see Passion of the Christ and she really liked it). I'm sure plenty of people have watched the Jesus of Nazareth mini-series who either don't believe or don't take it all so literally.In terms of popularity today, I feel like I do see a lot of Christian media these days. They just put out a movie about Mary with Anthony Hopkins in it (and it is on Netflix). Also stuff like Exorcism films remain quite popular. And there are series like the Chosen. It can span quite a range.When I was a kid you had a lot of counter cultural Christian or Christian themed media like Jesus Christ Superstar and Godspell. And you had racy stuff like Last Temptation of Christ. And a movie like The Bad Lieutenant had pronounced Christian Themes and imagery but was a pretty gritty film about a cop wallowing in vice. So it can be a very broad canvass to utilize.</blockquote>
