To me "fun" magic items have some off-beat use to them.I like Firlance's idea of "fun" magic items as it relates to 4E.I liked the drow magic item from 2E/3E, the rod of viscous globs. Fun to say and a fun visual for what you were doing to your enemy. (Although it was more fun in 2E because it usually worked more effectively instead of making you feel like you wasted an action.)</blockquote>
